I was wondering if anybody has one of these? I am looking at the model Bushnell HOLOsight 52-0021. I know these are made by eotech but what model does this relate to as a eotech. I don't need NV so why buy the 552 etc. I found these bushnells for $199 delivered new w/ warranty. I also like this model because it uses the 2AA batteries longer life cheaper batteries etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I  can save the extra $150-$200 for  another receiver or more parts etc.

There are many posts on this, do a search. Bushy's don't have the skid plate on it for protection. Several places have the new version for $199 or older models being replaced.

PS, no scope, its just a sight.

That's odd, the AA version is $40 less than the N version.

I have a holosight and find it very durable, quick and user friendly.  This guy is selling those on Ebay
for that price right now. I have the lnoger model and need the shroter one because with my rifle
electric rack it is too long and blocks it.

Did you guys bother to look through the FAQs tacked to the top of the page? There is one there for EOTech.

Holosight = EOTech model 502. Basically, you don't get the armored hood, no water immersion depth rating, and no guarantee of battery life. That makes it more of a "plinking" optic than a combat-rugged optic.

FWIW, I have a Bushnell HoloSight on my AR15 and one on my Storm.  I like them.  They work every time unless the batteries are kaput.  Both of mine have the N-type, as it makes for a smaller unit.
