What does the long linkage/trigger rod do? I am trying to fix one of these rifles, the trigger just doesn't do anything. I opened it up and the linkage doesn't contact anything. What should the rod contact, and where should it contact it?
 With the hammer forward or rearward, nothing in the action makes contact with the linkage rod. I checked the schematic on bushy's website and I'm not missing any parts.
