I read that the elevation adjustments on an M16 A2 carry handle sight where calibarated for M855 ammo.  Are Busmaster ARs calibrated the same?  If so wouldn't the adjustments be high for M193 ammo becuase it's lighter?

I E-Maild Bushmaster but haven't heard back from them yet.

Please tell me if I'm a compleate moron or if this is true.

No, you're not a moron.  On the other hand though, the trajectory patterns for both loads, out to about 300 meters, are close enough so that if you're sighted in with one, you'll be pretty close with the other.

Unless you're going to use the piece for match shooting, I really wouldn't sweat it[:D]
