My "V-Match" came with a trigger pull weight in excess of 8 pounds. It was not adjustable so I put in a Jard. I think most people go with an aftermarket trigger.

My tirgger was also around 8 lbs.

To lower my trigger pull, I went the cheap route.
I put in a reduced power spring kit from JP Enterprises.
It cost around $10.
It reduced my tigger pull from 8 lbs to around 4 lbs.

I too put a reduced spring set in my Vmatch and the resulting trigger pull is much lighter.
