So I bought a new Dissy during their Fall sale and haven't shot it yet.  I looked it over and noticed a faint lip on ramps where they meet.  Am I going to have problems with this, or do I need to Dremel it or shoot the heck out of it.  It looks to have been test fired by Bushmaster.

Looks pretty normal to me. The upper and barrel extension are obviously machined before put together so there is going to a be a bit of tolerance. As long as it doesn't mis-feed, don't worry about it.

Like these guys said- just shoot it.

How long has Bushmaster been doing M4 ramps?  I never saw a factory gun with them before.

It shouldnt cause a problem but looks like the uppers ramps were poorly done.

What he said.. funny how some folks say Bushies and other big manufacturer's are better built than - say del-ton or m&a... sometimes i wonder.  You should be fine with those ramps.

Are those really M4 ramps?

My Bushy upper's ramps look like that:

But I'd thought M4 ramps were a little more pronounced:

I just looked at my Bushmaster and Armalite side by side and the Bushmaster seem to be just relife cuts and not true M4 feedramps my Armalite factory upper looks much different.
