Anyone tried these mags? Are they any good? I just ordered 2, should arrive this week.

i heard they suck

but then again there are not many 40rds that will feed right/well in an ar in the 1st place

stick w/ USGI 30rnds; if not, get a beta-c

They are steel aftermarket mags of mediocre quality at best. They may, or may not work. 40 round mags are really pushing the envelope for practical length anyways. Get a bunch of USGI type 30's and 20's, then go from there.

I have 2 Colt 20 round mags, and 5 BM 30 round mags. I find the Colt mags MUCH FASTER to load and easier to use. The BM 30 round mags SUCK at loading, the rounds keep on getting caught either in the front or rear. I should've learned my lesson then, not buying any more BM mags.

are those BM 30rnds NEW??
they maybe just tight....try loading w/ 30 rnd and letting the spring compress fully for a while

then eject the shells and try loading again; new mags sometimes are REAL tight and when fully loaded the 1st time, the bolt cant push the round home...

Went to the range w/ 2 x 40 rounds loaded in these mags. Unloaded them, zero problems what-so-ever.

I love these mags.

However, the finish's rubbing off? Eh, I'll give these a little more range time before making any judgement calls.

The mags do stick out quite far though.
