Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Burris xtreme rings or pepr?

I am building a hunting rifle out of my RRA 308, I have burris xtreme tactical rings,but I am thinking about switching to the pepr.
Anyone have experience good or bad with either?

I helped my friend install one on his rifle.  It is a well made and not too expensive.  No quick release but if you don't need it, you could save some money.  It weights more than rings but you could mount your scope more forward.  I'm not a fan of the rails on top.
