I have a Burris XTR II 1-5x. The issue I am having, is the battery doesn't seem to last longer than a couple of weeks. I do make sure the illumination is turned off before I put it in the safe but it still seems to eat batteries. Is this normal? Is it something that Burris would fix?

Burris's Forever Warranty. I've got several scopes from them and their CS and techs are nice helpful people imo, they have helped me out before.

ETA,..so I'd give them a call. Illumination and batteries should last year's in most cases, they have for me. Months or weeks is a bad parasitic drain problem.

BurrisXTR

Read my review, specific to the battery. You may not have it set to the 3 hr default anf the power off settings between the illum settings may not being turning it off.

I have been on the same battery since Jan.
