Nice rifle. I hope your coyote hunting doesn't involve much carrying.

This is what I learned after I toted my 24" bull barrel Savage 10FP .223 with me on a few hunts.

OP, damn good looking rifle my man. Give us a report on how it shoots, I might be considering a similar build.

My last yote gun was fixed and I found that depending on how many layers of clothes and the shooting position that at times the stock was way too long. So I decided to go with a CTR stock on this gun to allow length of pull adjustment as needed.

It is a 20" barrel and not a true bull barrel. The upper really isn't nearly heavy as it looks. Besides, my previous yote gun was a Savage 12BVSS, which is a TANK of a gun, weighing in at over 12# before adding glass. This AR feels like a feather compared to that tank.

Threw the gun on my butchers scale this weekend and with the bi-pod (which probably won't be on there while hunting) and an empty 20 yrd magazine, it weighed in right at 9.25 pounds. Not too bad considering what the gun is and a huge weight loss from my previous coyote gun.

Ran a few rounds through for some function testing and all was good. Now just need to make some time to sight it in.
