I am going to ask alot of newbie questions so plese have patience with me, This is the first 308 I have ever built, 223's are cake... this thing is making me antzy... I bought a CMMG 308 AR-15 Style lower, because after research I liked how it was DPMS compatiable. I am going to buy a 24 inch upper, the DPMS Lower Parts Kit, buffer, spring, tube and be good on that end. But my question is what damn magazine do I use? I was told its DPMS capatible, does this mean I can use the "LR308" magazine? or do I use a S-25 mag? I am completely confused.  thank you for all your help!

btw if you know where I can get 10 round and 4 round mags that will be great!

I have a TM lower on a DPMS upper and I use C-Products SR-25 mags. No problems on the 10 round mags. ( I live in California )

sr-25 mags.  Your best bet is Magpul!

You can use all the below magazines, except the Armalite ones. In other words, the CProducts, DPMS, and Magpul ones will work with your CMMG lower. Magpuls are my favorite, but you'll have to go DPMS or CProducts if you want a capacity lower than 20.

44mag's 308 AR mags

Have fun.
