Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Buffer retainer stuck in compressed position

The buffer retainer that holds my buffer and spring in place is stuck in the compressed position, not able to hold the buffer from coming out of the tube. It was stuck in the upwards position but I tried to compress it to get the buffer out. Now it will not come back up and it seems stuck down there? Anyone else ever run into this?Any help is much appreciated on fixing this, Thanks

Crapy spring? Take the stock off and find out what is wrong.
