Just put this sling on my AR and wanted to comment on it. If you are looking for a quality leather sling this is the one. It's a little expensive $48.00 but nice quality.

I don't know about the current Brownell's slings but when they first came out I remember a number of HP shooters complaining about service life due to excessive stretching.  Of course, the first generation of Brownell's AR mags made a stink and now they're a hit.  Maybe they fixed that too.

Pretty much every HP shooter I know, including myself, stick with Turner, Les Tam, or someone like that.  Good old GI slings, the cotton ones not the nylon ones, are here and there too.  Installed backwards they perform very well on the HP course.

+1 for Turner.  I just got their "all-weather" sling, and it's very nice. Havent shot with it yet, but when dry-firing in the house, it's rock solid.  It's almost like I'm shooting from a rest.

I heard somewhere that these Turner synthetic slings will not stretch like the leather ones can.  Is this true?
