Does anyone have a surefire way of getting this crap to disappear for good???

I need one for my SP1 (some kommie lovin heathen put an A2 on a fairly early SP1 )

I have one in my junk box in good shape but

Its covered in some brown scaly fungi infection from within....

Buddy, you and I are one in the same.

I thought it was caked on dirt or something... but they're actually supposed to look like that.
Apparently some furniture were made with brown swirls in it. Sometimes the swirls are not very pronounced, and other times ... well, you get the picture.

It's normal, and no matter how much you sand on it with steel wool or whatever cleaning device you use will not take it off Don't want the swirls, gotta buy another one.

It's actually the material the grip was molded from. Turned out to be too fragile and they changed the composition. I'm putting them on all my retro-rifles...
