Your still going to kill hammer pins, but the KNS side support pin may keep you in the hunt when it does break.  If you do go this way, order a few extra pins.

Bottom line, I don't know which blow back design is worse on the platform (22lr or large sub calibers).  Both are brutal on hammer pins just because of the nature of the beast on blow back systems, but  even worse on some of the 22 Kits since you have to use a lighter hammer spring, and it just makes the problem compounded with the hammer really getting slammed back.
