The Radway Green is good, depending on the year/headstamp.  Steer clear of the Olympic ammo.  Almost any Olympic ammo...

I'd read this thread before deciding if I were you: Radway Green Review/Poll

Radway is the British Govt manufacturer.  Generally good stuff.  I liked their 7.62.  However, the Brits decided to issue one of the worst rifles ever - the SA-80/L85.  To try to help with some of its reliability issues they tried downloading their ammo.  They basically put less powder behind the bullets.  Some of this ammo apparently isn't all that reliable in American AR's.  Some headstamps will be downloaded, some won't.  I don't know how to tell the difference.

FWIW, they seem to have fixed their rifle and turned it into a worthwile piece of kit.  Maybe that's why they were selling the downloaded stuff.

I have 92 dated RG from SG that shoots great out of my 16" Bushy, and it shoots alot better than the XM855pd stuff out of my rifle. If you get 90 dated or newer stuff you should be ok.

The early/mid 80s stuff is underpowered, the A2 stuff, 89on I believe, is right up to spec. Good stuff.

Radway was last years daily ammo of the day...  stuff ought to have been sold out a long time ago.
Members was grinding that stuff up at our local AR15 shoots here... AIM is local.

The current ammo of the day is the Guatamalan..

Gas Piston systems such as POF HK 416 should have no issues even with the lower power ammo.  They are just less sensitive to that.

I bought a can last fall.  Came on strippers in those British nylon(ish) bandoleers.  I've been shooting it through my Bushy 16" HBAR.  No problems of any kind.  I believe it was 1992 stock.

ETA:  Just got off my ass to check.  It is headstamped '92.  The can is dated 8.6.92.
