Show pics. Then we'll know what to say.

If it's a carryhandle upper with M4 handguards.....it's different from a flattop and rails.

-Mags, at least 10, for starts....
-Lots of ammo, buy 1,000 rounds of some decent FMJ stuff....  check the Ammo Price List for ideas and prices
-some targets to get it zeroed properly, Bushmaster Sighting-in Targets are cheap and have easy to follow instructions
-some gun care stuff like a cleaning kit and some gun oil
-clean it and them re-lube it
-shoot it, repeat if necessary
-become familiar with it

im pretty much deciding between an aimpoint, an eotech, or a trijicon. im not sure about the foregrip and light yet. i really like the surefire forgrips with built in lights or i could use no forgrip and mount the light on the side rail... decisions decisions.

What do you intend to do with the gun? That generally will help you decide on the sort of optic you should be looking at. Optics are easily going to be the most expensive accessory you'll buy.

The Aimpoint and Eotech are door-kicking - 200 yard optics. Good for plinking, self defense and zombies.  I favour the Eotech myself as I prefer the reticle and the unbstructed FOV.

The Trijicon ACOG is more of a general purpose optic. It's not as fast and as easy to use as the Aimpoint and EOtech up close but it really comes into its own out beyond 100-150yards and is pretty good out to 500 yards. I have a TA31 but would prefer a TA11 as I don't shoot nose to CH.

My OTHER scope is a Schmidt and Bender Short  Dot (PMII 1.1-4x CQB). This is my 'ONE and ONLY' scope. It's not a bad red dot and you can dial up 4x with frontal focal reticule AND amazing clarity. Only downside is price. >$2100

All my optics ride on Larue mounts. The S&B uses a SPR-E.

You probably want a back-up iron sight too. I use the GG&G A2. It's solid.

You have started on the Magpul path. You should carry on. I recommend the M93B Modular Stock. It's so much betetr than the 4-position. Also the MIAD grip. Both in OD.

The M900 is good if you intend to always run a VFG with the light.

i think my uses are more door kicking/zombie/self defense up to 200 yards so i guess ill make my decision between eotech and aimpoint.

Go with a LED head. They're more robust. Warning...don't leave the LED on for long periods as they become very hot.

Looks like you have a great shooter already, Lewis.

The Surefire M962 for weapon light, and the ACOG TA31RCO for optics, and Troy rear BUIS, and you are at the top of the heap!

Congratulations on your new rig!

ETA: and welcome to the site!

That's a great looking weapon you have there.  I bought a Tactical Entry from Triggerfin and I couldn't be happier.

You've got some real good advice here.  Now go shoot the thing
