I've cleaned my AR about 5x already. When is it time to change the bore brush & chamber brush? My bore brush looks alittle worn already but what is the usual life of these. I also use my bore snake once and a while but feel the bristle bore brush is better.

Replace it when you feel the resistance has gotten too little as it travels down the bore. Bore brushes last a pretty long time, with the exception of using lots of copper removing solvents with them. Before putting them up after using them, spray them with brake cleaner. This will keep them clean and remove the solvents which degrade the bristles.

if u can easly reverse the direction in the bore your brush is shot.
