...with one round left in the mag.  What causes this?  It's happening about 20% of the time in one of my two ARs.  Various aluminum/GI mags that work flawlessly in the other AR.  The bolt catch?  The lower itself?

I would bet the "tit" on the bolt catch is too long/wide.

CMMG actually.  I need to take the calipers home from work and compare to my other one.

put a mag in with a round and look to see where its hitting, the longer ones will hit the follower and not just the catch on the follower
