Howdy all,
looking to put some nice silver NMR on my bolt carrier for visual effect;

after removing firing pin, firing pin detente and bolt, is the remainder of the bolt carrier safe to heat up?  dunno if the heat would have an effect on the way the carrier key is staked or anything, wanted to make sure before I learned the hard way.
