Howcome every now and then I'll see a picture of an Aimpoint that looks blueish and not jet black? It could be the camera/flash but I've seen it too many times. It was even on a website selling Aimpoints??? Whaddya think?

They sell their Comp C in blue anodized, and if you are talking about the purple hue, it is because of the light reflection. It happens with the older M-XD but not the newer grey finish M2s.

Thanks, Figured there had to be something cause some are blueish and some are black but nothing in-between.

Here's a pic...you can tell a little bit what I'm talking about

THE FIRST COMP M2'S OUT ACTUALLY HAD A BLUE-GRAY FINISH. FEEDBACK WAS NOT POSITIVE. SO THEY WENT TO BASIC BLACK.
