I leave this up to the Experts on here. I'm building an AR, and i've decided to go with a Billet Lower, So here's where the question lays, I can get a Black Rain Ordinance Milled lower for a good price, I'm trying to build a Mil-Spec AR. So does the BRO lower meet mil specifications? (Using a DD parts kit if that matters)

It is 7075 if that is what you are asking but it is billet, not forged.

I just built a BRO billet lower using a PSA parts kit. All went together with out any problems. It's a very good lower and you should not have any problems.

If you're looking to go milspec it's going to have to be a forged lower, not billet.

Nothing wrong with billet though, and I've never seen any complaints about the BRO billet lowers.

I just finished my latest build with a BRO billet lower. I couldn't be happier with how easy it all went together.  To reiterate what everyone else has said, no billet receiver is mil-spec.

Mil-Spec calls for forged but I don't think you'll be disappointed with BRO. I went with their Fallout10 .308 Billet set for my current project and the fit and finish is very nice IMHO

OP, you shouldn't have any problems installing parts onto the BRO receivers if that's what you're asking.  But as far as their receivers being milspec, as other said, milspec receivers are forged.

I just finished a build with BRO recievers and it literally took me 25 minutes if not less.  Everything just came together flawlessly.  The fit of the receivers was perfect.  I didn't even have to mess around with the tensioning screw.
