After having a safe load of firearms, I just purchased my first AR15 (thanks Pres. Obama). I got a Stag Arms Model 3 which has the Versa rail system. I would like to put a bipod on it and need some advice. Any suggestion on the one that would work well with this setup? Do I have to add anything to the Versa system to attach one. The bipod listed in the Stag catalog doesn't say anything about working with the model 3. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for your anticipated replies.

Just add the rail section to the Versa rail and pick any rail mounted bipod.

Hey Tom,

You will need to purchase the Diamondhead rails as seen on the right column here:
http://www.store-diamondhead-usa.com/Diamondhead_V_RS_Modular_Drop_In_Handguard_System_p/2001.htm

To figure out which length rails you need, figure out which accessories you want to mount, they ad up the length.
You'll be able to choose either the 7" version, or the short version. If you're just going to buy a Grip-Pod, get the short one, it's not necessary to buy rails to cover the entire hand guard, as I personally hate grabbing a handful of rails.

If you don't know what the Grip Pod is, check it out here:
