Whats the best bet for putting a bipod on this rifle? I just learned the value of having one for prone shooting in rural areas.

There is a guy in the EE that has a bipod/front grip if you don't want to add anymore weight or items onto the gun.

on my dissipator I found the position I wanted and drilled then tapped a hole for the mounting lug of a harris bi-pod.I did that because I did not want an adapter and I can easily disconnect the bi-pod leaving the stud or unscrew the stud and cover it up with panels.I am cheap and did not want to pay for a large bi-pod adapter when all I had to do was thread for the mounting stud.

This is what you need.
I may be willing to sell it. This is just a generic copy of the more expensive ones.
But I did not care because I do not think a bipod mount needs to be precise like a scope mount. It fits well and tight. I paid $35.00 for it and will let it go for $25+ shipping

Thanks for the tips. Who is the best place to get these bipods and QD mounts from?
