Want to change the barrel on my ar15 and need the upper vise and barrel/handguard removal tools and was wondering who has the best bang for the buck!

Quality AR dis-assembly tools are sold by Armalite and Bushmaster, they may cost a little more but you'll have them for a lifetime.

Cheap tools you'll be replacing the week after ya get 'em.

Ive done some comparing,and found www.model1sales.comto have good quality,and prices.

Bought all of mine from Bushmaster, barrel wrench, car stock wrench (haven't used it yet), Armoror's action block, A2 sight tool, and punches (haven't used these either, but will have kit on the way from Model 1 once I get the cash saved up). I haven't used anybody else's tools (one of the articles here said DPMS wrench was the best). Only used them once so far, but I am very happy with the ones I got.


correction - I used the little punch removing my gas tube
