I need one for an AR15 with bayo lug.

I'm going to cut off the lug and weld it to the neutered FSB on my rifle. The reason I want to do it this way is because I read it would be very hard to get a complete new FSB to line up right. ANd I need forged steel because cast is too hard to weld. Am I way off on this or should this work?

Thanks.

Insted of using taper pins, I drilled and tapped the holes in the new FSB 8-32 and used 1/8" long, 8-32 set screws to hold the new FSB on the barrel. Remember to use some loc-tite.

Also when drilling and tapping, you will have to deburr the inside of the FSB so it will slide on the barrel.

Oh, and I got the new FSB from Del-Ton.
