Unfortunately, I want to replace the BattleComp 1.5 I have and have a YHM QD comp installed so I can mount my can to it.

Where is the best place to have this done? I plan on calling YHM tomorrow to understand the details of their free installation service.

Ok, Adco. They were who I was thinking about. What do they charge for that service? I can't seem to find it on their site.

Any chance at all the BC is salvagable?

I've had good results with ADCO's work, and I believe Rainier does good work as well.

Thanks! I was overlooking that link.

I just called YHM. They told me you have to cut the old brake off and rethread, which would make the rifle illegal due to length, so they won't touch it.

I could've sworn you could cut the weld off and pull the pin out and use the old threading. Am I wrong and this little swap isn't possible?

ETA: Upper is a 14.5" (or .7", can't remember) BCM light weight middy with the BC 1.5 perma-pinned.
