I'm building a project that will eventually be a unique 6.5 Grendel. I want a grip that will put my finger in a better position. What should I get?

I accidently double posted.

Grips are a very personaly thing. IMO, your best bet would be to wait for the Magpul MIAD, that way you can set it up anyway you want it.

I read all the threads about it. I wonder when it will actually be available?

Rich is just working out the bugs now. I'd say we probably have about a month wait left, but you'd be best served to ask Rich about it.

In the meantime, the Sierra Precision Grip - works well, and it is called the "SPR Grip".

The SPR grip, the Sierra Precision, I think it is, is starting to show up more and more. I have one and it's rather comfortable. Much nicer than an A1 or A2 with a Rite Pull adapter (wanna buy one of those, I got one, cheap! ).

Fulton Armory has a nice selection of grips, including the SP, at great prices. Don't forget MidwayUSA as well for cheap price and quick shipping.

That is like asking, "which shoe is the best?"

Well, that all depends on your usage, size of your hand, etc. I suggest you leave the stock grip on for now, and don't buy until you actually see and handle one you like.

I left a message for Rich on Thursday, but he has yet to get back to me. I like the idea of being able to customize your own grip. Hopefully he can get things rolling in the next few weeks.
