I have a Carbon .22lr upper from Bushmaster, and I'd like a new optic for it.  Purely for shooting at the range, usually within 50 yards.  I don't want to spend a ton of money, and reliablility is not a HUGE issue for me right now.

I'm kind of leaning towards the C-more sight, because it mounts pretty easily to the raised accessory rail on the upper, and its nice and light and looks pretty good as well.

Any other options I should try?  Below $200 is definitely preferable.

Thanks.

Well, I have an Aimpoint for my 5.56mm rifle, and a Bushnell Holosight that I have also mounted on it in the past.  I realize the Bushnell is not as high quality as the Eotech, but performance seems pretty similar to me.

I don't really want to spend all that money on a high quality optic for what is basically a low-performing setup.

I'm looking at the same criteria for my DPMS .22 upper.  Anyone else have optics on thier .22's?

AvengeR15,
I know I may get flamed for this...but i'll tell ya what, for a .22 Plinker I don't think you can beat a Tacpoint.

A Tacpoint fits your need/wants perfectly. Sure some people will say get the "real" thing. But why? Why spend 300+ on a plinker scope. For me, my Tacpoint is just what I wanted. An affordable red-dot PLINKER.

Well, I have an Aimpoint for my 5.56mm rifle

Then it's a no brainer. You'd have a duplicate of your main rifle for training.

I'm going to agree with madone.
My "serious" carbine has an Aimpoint.  And my dedicated .22 upper wears a Tacpoint.

Walmart sells a BSA red dot that bolts right onto Pic rails for about $32. I have one on my DPMS .22 and am very happy with it. Can't beat the price for a plinker. Worth a try and you're not out much if you don't like it.

I have a cheap 2-6x28C scope, I think I paid about $30 for it with rings and base
