For slings you can't beat CQB solutions. Check the ar15 misc. equipment exchange for vendors.

The Single Point(TM) Sling from The Wilderness

Absolutely excellent!!

Or if you like, the Giles Sling, from The Wilderness

We use single point slings for entries and patrol. Best thing I've found for CQB work IMHO. Next would be a quality 3 point, but they are a little more involved for shooting with your off/weak side shoulder.

I just ordered a Black Hawk S.W.I.F.T. sling through RB Precision's website. Does anyone use those?

I have a Z-M single point sling and I like it just fine. I think the 3 point slings just have too much shit on them... too many straps... I like having the most simple setup I can get.

I have been carrying a Close Quarter Battle Solutions "Cross Shoulder Transition" sling for about a year now and it is great for clearing buildings as you can change shoulders without having to re-sling.

Check out Tactical Advantage at www.tacticallink.com/, they've come out with a killer set up, in fact I'm putting one on my "no ban" build.

I prefer a standard 1.25" sling used with a single point sling plate.
