After using a box full of various single point slings, and getting rid of all of them, the only one I will put on my weapons is the ASP single point sling. The rest aren't even close.
Here is a pic of the one on my training carbine.  Here is one on my rifle.

Redi-mag makes two versions: $18 and $35. Both are very well made w/ 1.25 -1.5" nylon and quick release buckles. Double, and cross stitches. Your choice of attachments. Free shipping.
Another is Spectre. From Brownells for $15 before shipping. MOUT sling. Not as well sewn together, but there's a life-time warranty.

Which sling is best? It really depends on you & what you want. Personally I like the Troy version. No plastic quick release, very durable, it was the most comfortable, and positioned the rifle the best for me when transitioning to a side arm.
