Hello. Could someone recommend the best method for sighting in an Aimpoint Comp ML2 reddot sight? More specifically should I sight in beginning with a 100 yd target or should I begin by sighting in at 25 yds, then go to 50 yds, and then 100 yds? My Aimpoint is mounted on a A3 flattop mount with the ARMS Aimpoint mount with the cantilever extension. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If I am reading correctly the short version is: Carefully zero the Aimpoint (or iron sights) at either 50 yards or 36 yards, then check point of impact at 100, 200 and 300 yards. If one has iron sights already zeroed, then can adjust the Aimpoint until the dot is on top of the front sight when looking through the rear sight for a start, then zero at 50 or 36 yards. Always liked this location (nearly as good as AR15.com [;)] In particular this time like the 9mm "25 yard" zero (which looks to be an 80 yard "2nd crossing" zero).
