green and orange are the same. only the color is different. have no experience with the metal ones. the only ones that can give you fits are the black ones.

I have metal followers in several Colt 20 round mags........they're good.........they have to be shot ALOT to get that way though. If you can find some old Colt brand 20 round mags with metal followers, they should be reliable. Just check them out to make sure they're smooth.
