Best made, easiest to use/remove & replace?

www.cdnninvestments.com Part #TAR2, $6.99 Try to find something else to buy off the site tho, since they have a flat rate shipping charge of about $10. It's the ONLY adapter that doesn't shift out of position every time you open the action, requiring you to get out screwdrivers to reposition when you close it. All the other guys sell a POS unit that will drive you crazy every time you open up, and that includes Bushie, DPMS, and the other manufacturers.

Shamayin, I looked at the pin on their website and can't tell what holds in in place to keep it from shifting when you open the upper. I agree the other adapter pins I've used drive you crazy, but what is different about this one that makes it work? Thanks. PS if you're close to Atlanta, come by the show in Norcross next weekend.

Darned if I know why it doesn't shift, but it doesn't. Must be something in the geometry of the offset part. It'll turn w/the upper when you open the action, just like the other kind. The difference is that it rotates back when you close the action, which that other doesn't do. What's neat is that when you set it up for zero play between upper and lower, it stays there[:D] Yes, I'll be at the show next week. For the past four years I've lived only 10 minutes away from the Trade Center, so it's no hassle for me. Moving to North Georgia (Rome area) end of July tho; so I'll have to content myself w/a half hour drive to the Rome show every once in a while. Don't know which day I'll be there, but if you see a gray haired mustachioed gent, wearing a tan field hat w/strange looking markings stencilled on the brim (Hebrew letters for I.D.F.), that's me. Come up and say hi if you spot me. I'm pretty friendly. Durn hat is almost as old as I am. Issued to me in 1956, so I only wear it out shooting and at shows any more[:D] Re the adapter, for the life of me, i can't understand why everyone else but CDNN still sells those other adapters. They're a king sized pain in the backside to use, and you risk gouging your lower every time you pull the screwdrivers out to realign them.

Thanks, Shamayim, I'll pick one up and give it a try as soon as I figure out what else I need so I don't pay all that shipping for one part. Hey, I've seen you at the show (or at least I've seen your hat). If we're there at the same time this weekend I'll say hello.

I'll look forward to it[:D]. I should know by Saturday morning whether I'm going that day or Sunday, so I'll post a note here. Yikes, I think we stole the thread[;D]
