Gentlemen,

In your opinion, what the best battle grip to get for the AR15.  Thanks for the help.

I'm probably going to grab a Magpul AFG2.  Although a while ago I saw a foregrip that was modular to allow for different size grip configurations, but I'll be damned if I can remember who made it.

What is a battle grip?  Tango Down makes a line of grips called "Battlegrips".

Are you referring to forward grips (i.e., under/attached to the handguards) or the regular pistol grip attached to the lower receiver?

Regardless, it's very much driven by personal preference.

I thought Troy had a patent on the use of "Battle" They put Battle on everything! I think they even sell Battle roll pins

LOL
"Battle Roll Pins"

I am all warm and fuzzy for the Magpul MOE grip right now and have tried them all.

LaRue FUG and Spike's VFG allow you to change the size.

For a pistol grip, I prefer the Magpul MIAD over everything else I have tried (A2, MOE and TD).  The large palm swell fit's my hand the best and I enjoy having the option to take off the finger groove.  Storage in the bottom is a nice feature too.

For a pistol grip I prefer the Tango Down.  I also like the Magpul MIAD.  For a VFG, I like a chopped Tango Down.  It's mostly a personal preference issue here.

My preference for a VFG is just a regular ol' KAC one that comes with the RAS. Just really depends on what you like as stated.

It is all personal preference, just don't buy airsoft crap.  For me the inexpensive Magpul RVG works better than anything else.  For a pistol grip, I prefer the Magpul MOE.  Don't get hung up on what somebody like the Magpul guys use, or something that "looks cool" , try different grips out if you can and make a decision based on that.

+1  I like mine with the thick back strap and no finger groove.  Perfection.

For a pistol grip nothing is more comfortable for ME than the MOE grip. For a VFG I also like the MOE and the AFG. But everyone is different. It's all about what fits YOUR hands and is comfortable for YOU.

I agree, all about comfort.  I have tried the Tango Down battlegrip and am currently using the Magpul MOE.
