If you had to buy an ar already built and you couldnt customize it yourself.  What brand would you buy, lmt, lwrc, bushmaster, etc.

I would say certain manufactures have their own strong points.

for instance
Noveske= barrels
Vltor= Vis, Mur uppers
Larue= mounts
Magpul= stocks, mags, grips

For the most part is all your own preference. I would probably never go with one manufacturer on a Ar build simply because the manufacturers usually specialize in one category which is usually how they made their name, and gained popularity. Do your research, since all of these manufactures are in spec you won't have a problem matching them.

Colt
KAC
LMT
Noveske
BCM
Larue

In no particular order.

If I had to pick one, I'd say a Colt 6933 SBR.

Noveske is best, in my book... although I don't, have not, and likely never will, own one.... too expensive.

LMT and BCM are as good as Noveske for all that I care, just less prestige.

CMMG is almost as good as BCM or LMT, and I use CMMG because it is a great bang for the buck.

Colt for quality is OK... but I don't like Colt politically, and refuse to do business with them. Screwing with the FCG pins, blocking their lowers, messing with the pivot pin, removing "evil" features before the AWB was even enacted. Same as Ruger, just loving up with the antis ever step of the way, hoping to give their products some slight exception. Sick.

The finest AR ever made is the Wundergun Zombifier Five Five Six.  The barrel is made of unobtanium.  You have to clean it only with silk patches soaked in purple Koolaid.  Guaranteed 1/4 MOA with arsenal quality ammo––perfect for Zombies because they can't be killed by anything but headshots.  Any lesser weapon and you will be overrun and your family will die gruesome deaths.

My last post in this thread had to be edited cause I gave my std rundown of what I thought was the best but had to be pieced together.

I guess with the restrictions you placed I would have to get a LMT or a Noveske.

Doesn't one of those Commandment things have something to do with coveting stuff?

I therefore have nothing more to say to or about jeep.  He is promoting sin.

I'd be happy to converse––chastely, I swear––with his wife, however.

I really haven't kept up with the Colt political crap.  Sounds bad.

Noveske, then – except THAT makes me think of that evil jeep and . . . never mind.

(Now would be a good time to educate a NOOB––since when one outgrows that status it seems that opinions become fixed and intractable for all Eternity.)

One of you Noveske fans care to offer a brief summary of why you'd rather have one of them over a Colt––politics aside?

Noveske is all about the barrel - they are very accurate, and hammer forged/chrome lined. The rest is made by Stag/CMT - nothing wrong with CMT products.

IF I had to pick I'd say LaRue and Noveske.

The best one is the one that functions every time, eats every type of ammo and shoots straight.  It's also the one loaded with magazines and ammo in case zombies come back.

Jeep, althought I can't discuss your lack of taste in fine automobiles your choice in women is similar to mine.  Some of the fine details evident are hair color and type.  I'm into blondes with straight hair although your wife looks like a girl I knew in college.  I know it's not the same girl though.

Armalite doesn't even make the long list anymore? I remember when the list was pretty much A, B, C. Armalite, Bushmaster and Colt.

I agree. The only thing I like about my Noveskes more than my Colts is the barrel.
