I ordered a muzzle brake for my 50 Beowulf today from Alexander Arms. What is required to install these? Are these easy to install or would a gunsmith be required?

you can install it yourself.

all the required stuff should be included.

sanding of park, cleaning, mounting, pouring glue, tightening screws. complicated?

i thought it was well worth it but if you think you might want a freefloat that requires removal of all that stuff then do that first.

there no getting the brake off without damaging it. trust me i tried

Definitely!
If you want to float it then you better do that first.
Once it's on there it is on there for good.

But in all honesty you should have any problem installing it.
It is worth the little bit of work you do for it.
