I believe one of the pros for having a middy is that the bayonet fits.

I had some pics (cant find them right now) -- its not 100% in the same spot as the M4 or M16 - but it does work

in that pic the bayonet about 1/4" farther towards the muzzle on the flash hider than mine is on my SP1. So yes, it fits quite well. Thanks for the pic.

Here's an M9 I just Duracoated today. Not sure of the fit tho.
 They sure are bad ass looking tho. |
