Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Battery life question

I'm new to AR-15 rifles and optics as well. I haven't seen this question, but I may have missed it.  I think I would like a 1-4 optic.  Are any of these optics capable of battery  life similar to an Aimpoint?

Not that I'm aware of. Closest optic to that would be the Trijicon TR24 1-4x24 which uses tritium guaranteed for 15yrs & fiber optics to provide reticle illumination when needed but no batteries.
