So a few months ago I got 2 PSA 16" "lighter profile" midlength barrels.

Good looking barrels, but they are heavier than I expected. Not really light weight, closer to a mid weight, but obviously still lighter.

Now I don't know what to do with them, one is for my wife, and I intended to make her a really light rifle. This barrel makes the build that much harder to keep light.

I could get adco to reprofile it, or find a real pencil barrel and sell this one. The odds of finding a real pencil barrel that is 1/7 twist seems like a long shot at this time, unless I want to pay a scalpers price.

nybody had ADco reprofile a barrel to a lightweight profile?

Bravo company has light weight BFH 14.5" barrels right now. If you want to go lightweight that is the way to go, but you have to pin the flash hider.

Daniel defense barrels seem to be coming in and out of stock semi regularly. Check there site, dsg arms and midway...

Adco took a 11.5 hbar barrel and cut it to 10.3 and reprofiled to lightweight for me. They did a great job if that's what you want.
