My girlfriend likes her M-4 I built her but would like the barrel weight reduced.

Any idea how much weight would really come off if the barrel was contoured forward of the FSB?

Thought about getting a superlight barrel but that would cost more, unless someone wants an M-4 barrel for one LOL

so

M-4 w/phantom = 2.2

and Superlight 1.9

Even with 2" of the barrel gone thats still not much of a weight drop.
I'll just tell her to hit the gym more.

Thanks!
