Is the M4-type barrel 14.5" including the FH? Or can I buy an M4 barrel and put an A2 FH on it to bring it to 16"?

14.5 is the barrel only. if you add a standard A2 fh you won't reach the 16'' total lenght. you need something like vortex or phantom

I have a Phantom. Looks like 'll be buying an M4 barrel!

Don't forget that unless your AR is SBR'd it will have to have the phantom permanently installed
