Wanted to pass this on to those out there that builds there own weapon platforms. I have recently purchased a few barrels from a Barrel manufacturer called DEZ Arms. I ordered 2 - 16 HBAR and 1 - 20 HBAR "Fluted" They were advertised as a Match Quality 4140 chrome moly steel 1:9 with 6 groove twist. They are supposed to be turned on center. Well I guess the proof is in the pudding, All three platforms are shooting under 1" at 100 yards with NATO 55g Ammunition. The 20" is closer to 1/2". I was a little skeptical because the price was more then reasonable, around $160 for the 16" HBAR. So for those not wanting to make a $300 barrel payment you will be more than satisfied with their product. I have attached their web site;

interesting. let me know when they make 4150, 1:7, chrome-lined barrels. There are already plenty of inexpensive players in the 4140, 1:9, chromoly market.
