Looks good... One question though, does it bounce when you drop it from all those layers of paint? J/K

there is no more paint.....it is all back to original anodized and phosphate.....only paint was the camo job and i just simply stripped it off leaving all the original finish intact.....i used paint that i could do just that for this reason......

I think the current setup is awesome. You looking to change it up, or hang on to this one for awhile?

thanks for all the votes so far.....i am kind of surprised at the number who have voted for the starting out version......

as for me changing it up again, i guess that i am done doing stuff to this one.....the Surefire HG's was the final part i needed to make it a great all round carbine.....next i will start tieing up money into another project(maybe a good precision bolt gun).......

keep the votes coming and when we have the final results we'll see which state of my M4 type is the crowd favorite....

please vote(doesn't matter which way), just do it....

thanks

You're a brave man for painting your AR...I'm having a hard time "taking the plunge".
Not to mention i like the black anyway.

The camo job is dictated by the environment it's going to be in, no sense painting it for the CENTCOM AO if you're not going there.
