Are there sources for civilians to obtain these rounds for 7.62 x 51mm rifles?

These are standard match cartridges you can buy anywhere ".308" match ammo is sold.  Won't have those M-numbers but you can easily match the specs.

I concur with Chuck.

M852 = 168gr SMK (Try the Federal Gold Medal or BH load)

M118 = 173gr Lake City Bullet...no clue on a source

M118LR = 175gr SMK (again with the Fed GM or BH)

I'm looking for the same stuff.  If anyone e-mails you of a source will you please pass along the info?  Thanks.  If I find some I'll let you know too.

Try Georgia Precision for a page of ammo to choose from.

thanks all.

Regarding the match ammo you suggested -

Just wondering if there are any problem (slam-fire) associated with the use of civilian primers in my SA M1A SS.  I DO use some civilian rounds (my defensive ammo is commercially loaded Win Supreme 150gr BST), but I am always just a little nervous because of the warnings that SA distributes with this rifle regarding the use of .308 commercial versus 7.62 x 51 NATO.

any thoughts on this?

Since I bought an AR-10 I was reading about reloading, so far people have not recommended the Federal 210M primers, CCI BR2 for accuracy or any others are preferred.  The Federal Match appear to be soft and have a history of showing firing pin indentations from the bolt flying forward.  Ragarding NATO and .308, it seems that NATO is a bit hotter for use in belt fed rifles and other rifles requiring reliability.

M852 - 168gr/2700fps: I'll let you search for a commercial match.

M118 - 173gr/2550fps:  Don't know of any commercial match and the M852 is a more consistant round.  Georgia Arms' G308M 168gr/2600fps and FedGM 168gr/2600fps ought to do just fine.

M118LR - 175gr/2580fps:  The FedGM 175gr/2600fps is its commercial match.  It should be the cat's meow, neato-bosso, ......

None of the loads are hot for gas guns like the AR-10.  I would choose G308M from Georgia Arms because of price & quality and has been
