I am needing to restock some .308 myself as my supply is getting a little low. I have been shooting the Port out of my M1A with very good results. But I'd be willing to try the Aussie ammo as it sounds like it's pretty darn good stuff. Anyone shot any of this out of an M1A yet and if so how do you rate it's performance? -Charging Handle

I ordered 800 rounds of .308 and 1000 rounds of Lake City - shipping to NY is $17.50. I love dealing with Eric but bottom line is the $$$ in my pocket.

At 50yds I could better 2" groups with irons all day long. Mind you, I'm half blind in my aiming eye. I think it's good stuff, ymmv.

Thanks Tumbleweed. I will try to pick up a good supply of this before it dries up. -Charging Handle

ChargingHandle, I gotta second the vote on the Aussie stuff. I'm getting 2590fps from the FAL Carbine, and 2,690 from the M1A. Accuracy is also on Par with Radway Ball in the M1A.Right at 2.5MOA. It's also cleaner than the South African, and no funky Gungafung stench when fired. Love the Boers, love their ammo, but ain't too happy with the smell! Grab it while you can. S-28

LMAO! Now every time I shoot a foul smelling ammo I will be trying to remember that term you just used....."Gungafung", gangafung, gang-bangerfung, manthisstuffsmellslikecatpissfung, etc. I will never be able to get it right! Hehe. But seriously, thanks for the recommendation. I always like second opinions before buying an unfamiliar ammo type. -Charging Handle
