After many months, alot of swapping out parts, and many headaches, my first AR project is done.

Nothing special, but it's mine, so I am happy.  My thanks to all here on ARFCOM, without some of the great info I got here, it would have taken longer.

Now on to the SPR build

Looks pretty tricked out for "nothing special." :)

Good looking weapon.

I only meant that there are quite a few M-4 builds out therehank
The Troy is great.  Very stable, very well built.  I like the look of the single rail along the top.  I tend to crank down on the VG alot, and the Troy is stable as hell.

I agree, that's a pretty sweet piece, but it looks like you don't really use the cantilever function of that mount.

Corporal_Chaos, your right.  I was waiting for someone to point that outhe  My eyes aren't all that great, but I have found that I like the optics just where they are.  Not saying it's right, but it works for me.

Slick rig you have there mrPickles!

I was about to call you a moron and say that it is never really done, but then I read that your FIRST one was done, so I won't say anything.

Awesome rig.....very similar to what I'm working on.  Question, did you install the Troy rail yourself?  If so, how easy is it?

Im not sure what you mean by nothing special? If this isnt special... what would you consider special? Thats a pretty kick butt rig!

NAG's comments bear repeating.  Very nice rig - I'll consider just about anything with a MagPul stock to be 'special'.

Now what is the next project?

Which single point sling mount did you go with? (for the troy sling)

And you can always flip the cantelever around the other way. I think I saw one of the Florida guys with it flipped around in front of an ACOG. (Not that you'd want to do that)

Any rifle built to your specifications, to be exactly what YOU want it to be, is special.

This is MY rifle.  There are many like it, but this one is MINE.
