I'm using a Fulton Armory adjustable gas tube on my DPMS 308 carbine.  works like a champ

ETA:  when I was putting the fsb with the evil lug on my AR15, I got a little overzealous with the vice grips and crushed the gas tube.  I used the old tube from the DPMS 308 and it was a direct fit
