I've seen some good deals on RRA A3 uppers for around $80, whereas a BM upper is around $140. I don't really want to whore out my BM to other makes, but man, almost twice the price is rediculous. Will the RRA upper be a tight fit? How is the color match? What's all this about some uppers having or not having M4 feed ramps? Thanks

No problem at all. Go for it. The color will be close, but I can't guarentee a perfect match. M4 feed ramps aren't an issue; since niether Rock River nor Bushmaster puts them on their uppers.

The same company machines them for RRA and BM and others. The only difference might be the finish. Each company has their own specs for their particular finish. It should be very close though. I've done the RRA/BM thing a few times with excellent results.

No issues at all. Ain't modularity great?
