Anything Better or Worst about the real early Serial Numbered ( like Under 000300 ) Bushmasters?

Later Numbers Better ?

Since Bushmasters are and always have been 100% mil-spec I don't see where it would make a difference.

around what time did Bushy have problems with the finish, creating the infamous Purple Bushmaster?

My Purple Barney Bushy has a serial number under 850.

The earlier the better, since the very early one's were manufactured by Olympic Arms! As were barrels and other parts...
