If you have to have LRBHO you've gotta pay to play. All of the options out there are going to cost you around $450-475 for the receiver set alone. Add $150 for the bolt, another $150 for the barrel, and at a minimum $25-50 for the buffer tube and recoil assembly you're already at $750-775 and you still have more parts you need to buy plus the stamp. If you ditch the LRBHO then it's doable, but still gonna be tight especially considering you've really only got $800 to work with. |

just under $800 without LRBHO...I just ordered a complete New Frontier Glock lower and Glock bolt from New Frontier Armory for $462, and upper (Aero Precision), 16" barrel, charging handle, YHM fore end from MAS Defense for $330....

Well, just ordered NFA complete lower and NFA upper w/BHO. I am at $465 so far, so now, just need a bbl, bcg, charging handle and handguard I think.
So: down to 335 available.....this is going to be interesting. Cancelled that order after hearing about issues with the NFA upper. Ordered a Spartan lower from Joebob, waiting on spartan upper, and ordered lower MOE SL build kit from PSA. New lower upper group, $414.44 Left with $385.56 |

I got my bolt from Rudy at Macon Armory and it is nice. Good guy to deal with also.

Well, thanks to K1rodeoboater, I now have an 8" bbl and charging handle on the way....
$385.56 - 95.50 $290.06 left for bolt and handguard... almost there  ETA: -139.95 for NFA bolt carrier group |

So after hearing repeated issues with the NFA lower, I decided to cancel that order and am going to build off of a joebob spartan reciever set. Have the lower ordered and waiting for notification on the upper. Also ordered the MOE SL lower build kit from PSA. I think this will be best as I really didnt want the B5 stock that came on the NFA and I am going to actually save about $50 bucks this way. Updated my money spent in each post. As of right now, I have everything ordered except for the upper (waiting for in stock), handguard (still deciding)

My suggestion for a handguard since you're using an 8" barrel like me, I also have this handguard.

Now have everything except for the Spartan upper receiver, and I am still under $1000! I found a Geisselle 7" rail on the EE that I got for $130 delivered. Here is where I am at. Of course, I will have to take the stock off to fully assemble it until my stamp comes back, but I am really happy with how it has turned out so far. With the 7" rail, only the threads stick out the end.
